hmmmm

I know, long time no update. Bad blogger. Actually, BUSY blogger! Between everything I have to do, the internet has really taken a back seat these days. Unfortunately. I like playing online. I just lost some of my play time.

But today- The doctor told my folks on Monday that Mom's vision is most likely all it will ever be again. So she totally lost vision in her left eye and only has half of an eye barely working in her right eye. That is so hard to explain. Take your hands and cover HALF of what you see out of your right eye and completely cover your left eye. That little slit of seeing whatever is in front of you, by your nose? That's my mother's vision, except she doesn't see clearly neither. The strongest magnifying glass can't help her read print. She sees the opthamologist on Monday, I guess they might tell her if she will keep what vision she has or if it will go too, I don't know. I would LOVE for him to say, we can fix your right eye, would you like that? But- more realistically, I'm going to guess they will deem her legally blind.
And that makes me angry.
Why?
Because she wasn't treated correctly when she was taken to the ER. Because they kept telling her she had a migraine, and she said no she didn't, it was a worse pain than that. They told her she didn't know that for sure since she never had a migraine before. Well guess what, ya idiots? She never had a stroke before neither and you didn't tell her it was that, now did you?! I think that's why Dad won't tell me who the Drs were that night, he knows I'm mad.
Well, their lives are changed. Mom is blind. Dad is total caregiver. And if the Drs had correctly diagnosed a stroke, maybe they could have given her a reversal shot, stopped the stroke and minimal damage may have happened. I guess we'll never know that for sure, because you can bet one doctor isn't going to say that about another doctor.

This just all really stinks.
